Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Ahead of Charter
Eligible for: Complete refund except for service charges
Refund Timing: Within 5–7 working days
Service Charge: €50 for credit card payments
Requirements: Must submit a written cancellation request by email or phone
24-72 Hours Prior to Charter
Eligible for: Half the total price of the charter
Refund Timing: 7–10 working days
Service Charge: €25 deducted from your reimbursement
Qualifications: Must have an acceptable reason; subject to administrative costs
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Qualified for: No eligibility for refund
Exception: Situations of urgency will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
Alternative: Possibility of a charter credit at the discretion of the management
Criteria: Documentation must be provided in cases of emergency
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Commitment to Safe Weather Conditions
We prioritize your safety. If our qualified captain deems weather conditions to be hazardous for sailing, we provide multiple alternatives:
- Complete Refund: If rescheduling isn't possible, a full refund will be provided
- Rescheduling: We will offer a new date for your charter with no additional fees
- Charter Credit: A voucher valid for one year from the original booking date
Procedure for Evaluating Weather Conditions
The assessment of weather threats involves:
- Evaluating wind force and trajectories
- Examining wave sizes and ocean state
- Assessing visibility and forecasted precipitation
- Monitoring Coast Guard bulletins and alerts
- The safety judgement from a professional captain
Decision Time: Calls regarding weather cancellations are made at the latest 4 hours before the charter departs.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Scenarios of Urgency
We understand unforeseen medical situations arise. Special refund considerations may apply to:
- Immediate illness or physical harm that leads to hospitalization
- A family member's passing
- Unanticipated military orders or recalls
- Requiring court appearance or jury service
- Natural disasters impacting journey plans
Necessary Proof
In order to manage requests for emergency refunds, please supply:
- A doctor's note or hospital records
- A death certificate where necessary
- Formal military directives
- Official court notices or jury summons
- Government travel warnings or disaster declarations
Handling Time: Emergency reimbursements are dealt with in 3 to 5 business days once proper documentation has been provided.
Operational Cancellations
Technical Difficulties
If a mechanical malfunction occurs that can't be promptly fixed:
- Replacement Vessel: We endeavor to supply an equivalent replacement
- Full Refund: Offered if no comparable vessel is available
- Partial Refund: If the alternative choice has a value adjustment
- Compensation: We may provide additional reparation for the trouble caused
Lack of Crew Availability
In the unlikely event that a certified crew is not available:
- We will try to arrange a stand-in crew when possible
- Full refund if no replacement crew can be found
- Options to reschedule at no extra charges

In some situations, instead of a refund, you may receive a charter credit:
- Last-minute cancellations (under 24 hours notice)
- If the charter is canceled due to weather
- If you choose to reschedule

Credit Terms
- Validity Period: One year from the date of issue
- Transferability: Not transferable to others
- Charter's Value: Entire value of the originally booked charter
- Application: Applicable toward any available charter dates
- Expiration: Credits must be used within one year, no extensions
Refunds for Partial Services Rendered
Service Disruptions
In the event that your charter is disrupted or cut short for reasons we control:
- A refund proportionate to the unused portion
- Credit towards another charter of equivalent value
- Complementary offerings or upgrades as compensation
Guest Implications
If a charter is ended earlier due to guest actions or disregarding safety guidelines:
- No refund for the remaining time
- Payment in full is still mandatory
- Extra fees might be imposed

If you're unsatisfied with a refund verdict, you have the option to:
- Seek a reassessment from our management committee
- Deliver further documentation or clarification

Final Step: Review and Refund Execution
Our staff will acknowledge your submission within a day, evaluate it based on the stipulated policy, make a decision in two days' time, and if approved, execute the refund as per the time periods mentioned previously.
Key Reminders
- Applications for refunds need to be expressed in writing
- Regardless of the original currency used for payment, refunds will be processed in €
- Acquiring travel insurance is highly suggested
- Changes to this policy may occur, given a 30-day notice
- Refunds are offered according to applicable taxes and stipulations
